On the day of the wedding by the time we had to set up the venue, it was not yet cleaned and the kitchen was a mess. Flowers and other decor items had to be moved from the chapel to the reception hall after the service. The flowers was placed wrong after being told exactly where it should have been. The message board stood upside down against the wall - not even placed at all. The tables where the guests had the pre-drinks had no tablecloths, after they told us that they would prepare the area - not looking elegant at all. The guest book together with paint markers was lost. All that the bride and groom has left from their guests after the wedding is the messages and wishes written in this book. Instead we were supplied with card board and milky pens that didn't even write properly. Needless to say almost no one could write a proper message and the messages that was written looked so bad that it was useless. On top of all of this the cake went to the kitchen to be cut and somehow a whole layer just dissapeared. The event coordinator felt that she could leave even before the reception was over. This was supposedly a five star venue.
