Poor service when paying a claim

Discovery needed to pay a claim in full out of hospital benefits under a authorization number. The claim was short paid up to DIscovery rates out of our MSA. They admitted their mistake and said the claim will be reversed and paid in full out of the correct benefit but (this is the part that makes my blood boil) I owe them the money now that they paid wrongly out of my MSA. I asked the agent I spoke to, why can't they just pay out the difference and everybody will be happy. He said no, the system will not allow it. This was there mistake and now I must pay for it. I have send numerous mails this past month regarding this claim and you are told a different story each time.
