After getting permission over the phone from discovery health for my wife to get some test done, we did so. We then submitted the claim as normal and it was declined. After phoning Discovery three more times requesting that they listen to the phone conversation to proves that permission was given, they did and we were given a special permission form to be filled out. which we completed and the claim was still rejected. We have adequate funds in my medical aid savings and see no reason why I should not be paid out. I am not happy client. The tests were vital to my wife's health as they have uncovered the fact that she has celiac disease and needs to live on a strict diet.
