On 22 December I sent a notice of cancellation for my former NIMAS medical aid, which was taken over by Resolution health. The cancellation was with effect from 1 January 2013. On 2 January 2013 I received an e-mail confirming receipt of my e-mail, noting that I have to serve a 30 day notice period. Thus in my opinion meaning 1 January till 31 January. The debit order was taken end of December, which is advance payment for January 2013. End of January 2013 a debit order was once again taken for February cover. But my cancellation period ended 31 January, why should I pay for February?
