I'm new on this medical aid but I won't say I can recommend it to anyone else. Firstly I registered for the chronic medication, received sms to state that I will be getting my medication monthly on the 29th monthly but every month on the 29th no medication but I do get the sms. All the delivery are always late. I still haven't received the medication for the month of November that will sustain me until December. 2ndly I went for an operation on the 28th October after getting authorization from the medical aid. The operation was successful; I received the statement from the Dr which I forwarded to the claims department surprisingly I was told that they can only pay 90 percent and the rest I need to pay. My question is why I was not told that I need to pay half the money as I wouldn't have went until I raised the money. The reason I got was that I don't have sufficient funds on my medical but why did they authorize when they could see that I don't sufficient funds.
