Why am i paying

I would like to know why I am even paying for medical aid if my chronic medication is not covered. I had to sit on the one year list (of which I spent almost R9000 just on my medication) The whole reason I went onto medical aid was to get my correct medication. now a year and 3 months later. My medication is still being rejected. I would also like to add that when I was on discovery before (left because I was unemployed) all my medication was covered.
