Drove past ATKV Buffelspoort on Saturday, 30 Nov, 15H30, and stopped there to see how it has changed since I was there 25 years ago with my parents. Spoke to various people, but they would not let us in for a few minutes. Reasons were: they do not allow day visitors when the resort is fully booked, and the only allow viewing on weekdays, blah, blah, blah. The staff's attitude, as described in a previous post, is spot-on. Seems like the place lost some of its charm over the last 25 years.
