We booked 1278 on Leisure Bay for a family getaway and have been left deeply traumatized when our clothes, toiletries and shoes had to be thrown away due to raw sewage flowing out the bathtub, drains, showers. The owner was contacted to report the problem and we were advised that the plumber will be sent over to solve the problem. The plumber never came, we spend the entire Sat evening / Sun morning in a stinking house with our belongings damaged and had to be thrown away.
The plumber came on Sun morning and told us the owners are well aware that the septic tank on the property is full to capacity and they are not willing to drain out yet they still hire out the property to unsuspecting people.
I have requested a full refund yet the owner has only paid me half, this is unacceptable as we wasted petrol /toll fees / and time to be left stranded over the weekend in a house that should have never been rented out in the first place.
