My husband and myself booked five (out of six) rooms to provide guests of my daughter's wedding with accommodation. After the final wedding arrangements I went to the guesthouse to get dressed for the wedding, and all our guests had to park outside the allocated parking area as all the parking spots were occupied by the guesthouse staff. When we returned to the guesthouse after the wedding the car was gone. None of the staff members had any knowledge of what happened to the car or offered any help to assist in reporting the car. When asked where the security was (which was guaranteed) the reply was that they did not the car, and the manager was not notified. Myself, my husband and four other guests left the guesthouse (the rooms were not refunded) as we were concerned about the safety of the other cars, without any apology or gesture from management. Safety for the cars was a concern prior to the booking and management assured that there will be security and that alarm systems were in place. The sensors were check by a senior security officer and he confirmed that the alarm system was not working. The incident could have been prevented by decent service delivery.
