Is it normal to wait 4 hours to be helped at a "Private Hospital"? My grandmother fell yesterday and was taken to Casualties. She had to sit in a wheelchair and wait for my mom to arrive to make the R1 200.00 payment before anybody will touch her. After this payment was made she had to wait more than 90 minutes before someone assisted her. We found out that her hip was broken. Can you believe it!!! Sitting for 4hours in a wheelchair with a broken hip!!! I personally think this is rediculous. I had an awesome experience when I had to be there 2 years ago and that is why my gran was taken there instead ot the other new hospital in Randfontein but I wil not refer any body to this hospital again. Very sad!!!
