Complete lack of support when needed most

My parents have belonged to BESTMED pace 3 for all their lives. My father is now almost 80 and my mother has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's dementia. She is in need of 24 hour care, but BESTMED refuses any help. After a lifetime of keeping up payments (on a very small budget) and even taking out gap payment options for times in need, they have now been left to fend for themselves with no support whatsoever from the medical fund who promised support in case of Parkinson's dementia (as clearly set out in their initial plan). The unfairness adds to our grief in this very bad time when support is needed.
