I booked a hotel in Durban through ebucks travel, with the idea of being close to Gateway Center, as I was there for a sports competition for the weekend. I didn't book a car because I was close enough to walk... that's what I thought. When I got to the hotel, I found out that there is 2 Umhlanga protea hotels... now as a "gautenger", how I am suppose to know that??!! So at 21:00 at night, I arrived at the hotel (at gateway) and I tried to move my booking. They just refused! Reason being, it's been booked through a 3rd party. At the end I had to book myself out of Protea Hotels, with no help at all, and re-book myself into another hotel at the Gateway shopping center, costing me and extra R2600. PASSING THE BUCK! Apparently, after sales is non-existing, couldn't care less about me as client!! Yes, I didn't book directly through you, but that's why we have loyalty programs, and why YOU are part of loyalty programs? Or am I missing something? Is my money not worthy as a client, because I didn't book through you directly? BAD service, no help at all, costing me a lot of money because I'm unhappy, and nobody cared to help me out. NEVER again!!
