CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S BEST

Wanted to make a reservation for a picnic lunch at Tres Jolie in Peter Road, Honeydew. I saw a price of R125.00 pp on the Eat Out website and R250.00 on Tres Jolie's website. I queried this via email, stating that "I have looked on your website..."
The "function coordinator" came back to me and her response was to copy and paste the exact website page in the email I made reference to! I replied asking her to actually read my email and respond to the questions asked, highlighted in yellow. She responds sarcastically and highlights her mail in yellow. She then has the cheek to contact me... I asked her to get a manager to phone me so I could lay a complaint against her. She says "Okay Cool! " The manager phones me and is prepared to do NOTHING to rectify the situation but apologise for her rudeness - customer service at its best!
He said the advertisement on Eat Out's website was out of his control and he had no idea where they got the info from?
I suggested to him that a complimentary voucher would have been nice but considering that he didn't come up with that on his own, that I'd rather not frequent his establishment in any case.
