Unauthorised debit of my account

In the month of September, prior to cancelling my medical aid with bankmed, I contacted bankmed to ensure I owed them no monies. I was told I owe them NOTHING. Come today (22 October 2013), I was debited R699.48. After calling bankmed, I was told this was a claw back. I was not notified at all. No email, sms or call. My salary date has changed and therefore went into a negative balance for the first time! Who the gave them permission to debit my account on this specific day without notifying me! Had I been out the country my entire credit record would've been affected! I have now been charged an incidental credit fee! poor from a useless pathetic medical aid cover! Tell me one thing and then debit me for something else!
