I have been with the Compare Wellness Scheme for several months and since joining more money than agreed upon has been debited from my bank account, first I thought it may have been for a pro rata amount for the first month, however this continued month after month. After trying to find out what had been happening, nobody in the company replied to my emails or returned phone calls. It took them about 3 months to finally send me a list of doctors I could choose from and after doing so and finally visiting the selected doctor, I thought it would be smooth sailing, but to no avail. I then received doctors bills and had to pay cash for all prescribed medicine. I am now receiving bills from doctors for 3 months ago which were rejected by the medical aid and then sent to me as over due.
