Shocking Service

13/10/2013 at 11:00 am we took our 5 months year old son to seek medical help because he had Flue with a runny nose and was coughing.. We got to the hospital and was swiftly assisted by the reception staff with filling in the details and taking my son to the rooms. The doctor who saw him prescribed 3medications and we went back home.
We administered the prescription and my son started vomiting which was not a symptom he had before we went to the hospital and started having a high temperature, I called the hospital immediately and advised them of this and the Doctor who who gave us this medication responded by telling me that medicine is not important I can stop giving it to him and continue with the 2, which for me was very alarming why prescribe something which is not important and can possible cause more harm to a child.
We dismissed it as a norm and continued to monitor our son and he became worse and we eventually took him back upon our arrival we had a long debate about the hospitals 1 parent rule in the room and were advised no one will attend to my son till one of the parents leaves, when the doctor eventually came he did not even touch my son and said it was normal.
