I responded to an advert I saw on facebook saying that you get full cover for this and full cover for that at a very low price. When I phoned the call centre the person who assisted me - if you can call it that - had a very unprofessional demeanour. Only answered with yes or no answers, i had to force explanations out of him, as if he is hiding something. I was told that there is only one doctor in my town on there list that i can go to - a doctor I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy - very close to a tradiotional healer. And that if i go to another doctor he has to prescribe medication off a list that will be emailed to me. I mean really, what sane doctor would do that. He has a million patients to see, he is not going to sit for an hour looking for medications he can prescribe. And the I am advised that should i take up on their services that i shouldnt cancel my existing medical aid and rather use their service as a gap cover. Furthermore - the hospital plan doesnt cover your expences, they pay you out an amount for each day you are in hospital and that you have to use to pay the medical bills. And that information i also had to force out of the salesperson! Shame on you
