The accommodation looks nothing like the photos we were sent (nice & light &clean) and that are on the website. It is dark, dingy and filthy dirty. We had a page long list of things that were broken, including the pool table, the jaccuzi, cupboards, the electrics and the plumbing. In spite of leaving a voice message on the owners cell phone on the day we arrived, we had no communication from her until we emailed her days later with the list of broken things.
When they finally sent someone out to look at the damages, we were told we could not use 1 toilet because it was dangerous which left us with 1 bathroom for 11 people. That was an impossible situation so we found alternative accommodation and moved out. Now the owner is refusing to give us a refund because we did not give her notice that we were leaving, and insists there was nothing wrong with the toilet and we didn't need to move out, in spite of us being told that by her handyman!
Of course the owner insisted on full payment up front so unless we now engage in a long and expensive legal battle, we are unlikely to see any of our money.
If you want accommodation that looks the it's photos and works, DO NOT STAY AT AMAPOZZI
