In July 2013 I went for a malaria test at the Winklespruit office. I paid CASH for the test and I have a receipt. A couple of weeks later I received an account for R328.00 for the malaria test. I then phoned Lancet who informed me that an additional test was required by my doctor (the initial test came back negative). I contacted my doctor who has no idea what Lancet is talking about. I informed Lancet of this and was told the matter will be sorted. After receiving threatening sms's I phoned again and this time spoke to Kim Augustus who promised she would get back to me. This was over a month ago and I still havent heard from her. However, I'm still getting threatening sms's for an outstanding amount which was paid cash for at the time.

My next step is the newspapers.

Since then I've had letters and sms's threatening me to pay the outstanding account.
