My son had to go to the casulty room on the 24 Sep 2013, which our medical aid had funds available, when i got my statment this morning, the account for the doctors visit was not paid for as it was given a code of a gp doctors room, i spoke to Linda in the claims dept with a ref 557591 saying the doc must just change the code 0190 and give a diff code of an emergancy so that the acc will get paid, when i called the casulty room they say that is the only code they have always used. and cannot change the code now. please can someone verify why you have a casulty fund but yet the account now is being charged to my day to day benifits which has run dry.every month this medical aid has some excuse why an account has not been paid.
