Being a service provider and quests for a wedding that took place at Asara we were appalled at the service we received from Pete the General Manager for a Hotel booking. The bride and groom personally arranged one of the courtesy rooms for us and arranged with Pete that they would provide additional beds for our children. The night of the wedding the on-duty managers said that Pete did not honour this arrangement and that we could get another room at an additional cost where the children age 6 could go and sleep. We had to quickly scramble to try and arrange for additional accommodation late on a Saturday night. Being quests of the bride and groom we had to tell them, and they very upset about this, as Pete's actions effectively insinuated that they were liars. Asara is a beautiful venue however having been in the wedding industry for years, they still have a long way to go in terms of service. I see this also not the first complaint against the general manager on Hello Peter.
