I bought a humidifier at Mays Chemist that cost me over R400-00 on Monday.
The first night I used the humidifier, I almost got no sleep because of the loud noise the machine made, I had to switch it off by 3:00 AM.
On Wednesday I went to return the Machine, K/Cobus (the owner) took the machine and assured me he will let me know, by Friday when I haven't heard anything I called and left a message for him. Only by Saturday (4 days later) he returned my call where he said that there was nothing wrong with the machine. I asked him if I can in that case please get my money back so I can buy a new one at Dischem. He was very rude and told me that no place would return you money for a product that is not broken, not even Dischem, not even if the customer is not happy.
He also said its better that I loose my money than the Pharmacy looses money and his overall attitude was that he didn't care and its not his problem.
I am very dissapointed in their Service and most of all that they would rather loose a few customers than help a sick customer. I would never go there again and also not recommend that anyone would ever support them. I would much rather support Dischem in the future.
