My partner and I visited Nokeng Eco Lodge for a romantic weekend and our expectations were exceeded. The chalet that we stayed in (Wildevy) was perfect for us: close to the pool, but built in a way that still gave us privacy.
I'd asked Elsje (the owner) to arrange a special dinner on the Friday night, and she unexpectedly brought it to us in our chalet. And the food was DELICIOUS - a full 3 course dinner beautifully presented.
We had a picnic lunch at one of the amazing picnic areas next to the river. What a special treat to sit next to a river in absolute silence. And the BEST was that we saw a duiker, monkeys, hippo footprints, an African Finfoot and drank straight from the river!
Elsje had a great sense of humour and accommodated all our unplanned requests. Tryphina, the Manager, was just as wonderful and they all made our stay incredibly special.
