I applied for Medical aid with Discovery a few weeks ago and it was a pretty fast process to have me approved and ready to get onto the medical aid, but i am fearing that because my wife was hospitalised for the birth of my child and i was in an accident, i don't quite understand why i need to undergo the 3 month waiting period as these were beyond our control, its not like a chronic ailment, i have had an amazing health record, my last doctors visit prior to my accident in august was almost 2 years ago... please get back to me as soon as possible. as i have to sign the 30 day notice to join you guys, and i need to be 100% sure. you guys are an amazing company, but please understand that i would love to join you provided i am given a fair and just ruling regarding the 3 month gen waiting period
