My dr. send me to Dr E Fredericks, Gastroenterologist, in June 2013 for both a Gastroscopy and a Colonoscopy. My dr. clearly asked Fredericks - and have proof of it - that the psocedure must be done in the consulting rooms as requested by Resolution, and that they will not pay if its done in the Hospital. Meloney at Dr Fredericks send me to the Hospital. Afterwards I received a bill R3 965.60 which was not paid by Resolution. After a lot of investigation, it was clear that Melaney made a mistake to send me to the Hospital. She no ask why I did not ask questions about it. Which patient have knowledge of procedures to as why they must fill in documents? This was a mistake by Dr Frederick's personel, and I will take this matter to the Medical Board and Consumer Protector to investigate. I am not willing to pay for mistakes made by the staff of Dr Fredericks. People, be aware, ask questions, and investigate every movement of your dr and its staff, as it will cost you something on the end.
