Gym membership cancelled without any warning after 6 years with Discovery on second highest package! I was pregant and felt too sick to attend gym and then lost baby and had removed at 12 weeks. Really traumatioc period. Only found out that my benefit was cancelled when I went back to gym after lost the baby.
Really poor customer feedback from Discovery. Want me to go to a GP to get a letter confirming I was pregant and could not attend gym (after I sent letter from gynaecologist - not enough). My claims confirmation suerly? So they want me to pay a GP (claim it from them) to explain to them what pregancy symproms are like! And then I had a Call Centre Manager just telling me on the phone that those symptoms does not prevent one from going to gym! So is this guy a GP in his off time and how many times has he been pregnant? They need this letter to assess my case and to decide if they can re-instate but cannot guarantee anything. I have a professional job and feel my time is really being disrespected and that I am honestly not valued through discovery. We have never missed any payments in our life! It almost seems as if they are happy to get you off the benefit!
