This is on behalf of my dad. He had an emergency procedure for his leg. We have been having on going problems with this because he was given an authorization number and till today discovery refuses to pay the bill. We called in and claire Christian from discovery said we should get a letter from the doctor stating what it is he had to do for my dads leg which was done. I have sent this letter so many times to discovery health and dealt with multiple consultants who refused o I help me. My dad then called on numerous occasions and every time he gets a reference number and gets told he will be contacted in 48hrs but instead he ends up allying discovery again. This is terrible I service and then we must still pay a bill which discovery is not willing too pay yet they issued an authorization number and they can listen to that call where the consultant gave the authorization. That is why we called discovery before going to the medical facility. I am sick of dealing with discovery and tired of no help and the non payment of the bill.
