I booked the weekend (06/09/13 - 08/09/13) for my fianc? and myself to go away for his 40th. I booked the cabin with Elaine. She emailed me a few times, then after I paid the money she went quiet. When 4pm came the Friday afternoon I was quite worried as to how I was going to get to the place seen as I was supplied no directions as promised. We decided to leave and try and find it ourselves. Well after driving for 4 hours we went back home. After 10pm I received a sms from Elaine asking if we still coming. This was from another cell phone number than the one she called me on. The other one she didn't answer neither her land line. Well when we got there the Saturday I got a surprise! We are placed on the first floor above other people in this so called cabin. I was so mad! We could hear them walking even though we were on top! Hear them talking etc. This was NOT what I paid for. Talk about false advertising. We went upstairs to find a dirty carpet, dirty old sponge in the sink, dirty containers with old sugar in it. About 50 bees inside the main room. We had to carry the mattress into the lounge to be able to sleep. NO braai had to use an old webber with holes in. TBC
