We as a Company book our Employees at the Netcare Travel Rivonia Clinic for vaccinations & yellow cards etc. Shirley phoned to verify extra vaccinations with my Manager who was not available at the time. When taking a message for him she mentioned she was from the Travel Clinic. As one of our employees had an appointment this morning I inquired what the call was about as I administer the entire process and could be off assistance. Shirley was so rude and stated the following in a very unpleasant manner: "I would like to speak with Mr. X if that is okay with you". It's my job to inquire as I am his assistant. Her entire attitude was unbearable and totally unprofessional. It became so bad that I put the phone down as she was becoming unreasonable. I could actually assist her with the query but I was not able to due to her unpleasant manner. I inquired from our employees who have visited the Clinic previously and they stated that she is rude and so strict you are not even allowed on your cell phone. I understand if it's the rules of the clinic to have no cell phones in use while there but then again there is the correct way to handle it. Your response will be highly appreciated.
