In October 2012 i took my then gardener to the emergency room at Netcare Millpark, paid in full on admission (as you are required since gardener is not on medical aid).

A year later i get very unpleasant communication from attorneys demanding payment for an outstanding amount (trivial amount) legal fees (not so trivial) for Drs Monteith Nay Wells Heyman Inc (although i see communication from the dr's to the attorney seemed to come from netcare credit controller.

When i phoned them i was told there was an amount outstanding and they had phoned & texted the gardener numerous times and had got no response so had taken legal action action.

When asked why they were communicating with the gardener when their own invoice clearly indicated i was responsible for the bill an had my correct contact details displayed they had no answer... and of course, since it had been handed over to attorneys there was "nothing they could do"

So now it seems i have no option but to pay legal fees due to their inability to read their own invoice / billing data.

Hint to Netcare send the bill to the entity marked as "responsible for account"...

Next time i will take my business elsewhere
