We stayed our first night of a long planned three week holiday at the Springbok Lodge. In the early hours of the morning we realised we had been burgled, all the children's bikes off our vehicles behind gates on their premises. We immediately contacted the SAPS which in turn advised us that it was the third incident the week at the Lodge. The previous tenant was beaten and robbed. When this was taken up with the owners we were given no assurance that they were attending to the matter and had to leave hard-done, with no apology of any kind. To add to the woes I had to defend my decision to cancel my second night and had to argue for my refund.
