I have been trying to move down to the keycare scheme for about 3 months. Everytime I enquire and fill in the forms I am informed that I owe them money, a clawback amount of approx R1000. When enquiring about how much the clawback would be if I completely left the scheme I was told that the amount would be approx R300. I find this logic difficult to understand. After 3 months of struggling I have decided to leave Discovery and again I was told that there would be a clawback amount but this time it has more than doubled to R700!! I simply fail to see where these amounts come from.
I also have a massive problem with this customer service. It doesn't seem like they want to keep me as a customer at all. I have had not one interaction where someone seemed to genuinely care and try to keep me as a customer.
I am truly disappointed in Discovery. The service has been terrible and honestly the amounts I am expected to pay are large and seem unjustifiable.
I hope this complaint makes a difference for the next person in a similar situation.
