I have been a loyal Discovery member for the last 8 years. I am truly shocked by the way the following matter was handled. Claims were submitted agains my self payment gap in 2010, paid by discovery and then reversed. Only TODAY after i called them was i told that i owe Discover R1800 for a 2010 claim. This after 3 years! This is no fault of mine. I was only made aware of this when i contacted Discovery today in regards to my self payment gap. The consultant explained " if the money was in my self payment gap why was the funds not deducted in Jan 2011 from my savings account". Consultant also confirmed that that the system shows that i was not notified of this. Someone did not do their job and now this has become my problem.
Very sad to experience this as i had allot of trust in Discovery.
