I sat at the exterior patio section at a bench type set up which was so sticky, the paper serviette couldn't be lifted from the top and a mass of flies crawling around the table.
The calamari starter was warmed up floppy pale calamari slop as if it was cooked some time ago and left sitting in a pot simmering served with over cooked cold rice.
I was served a pork schnitzel curling up on the edges as dry and hard as cardboard which couldn't be swallowed, the manager had the cheek to say "that's how they serve it" ;didn't believe that there was anything wrong with the way they cooked it, that's how they always do it he said rather indignant. Tasteless cold spinach and greasy veg as a side order accompanied by a congealed tasteless cheese sauce on the side. If I could upload the photo here...! I informed yet another manager of how bad it was who just looked at me, wandered off never to be seen again. My bill of just under R700 for 3 left me feeling annoyed and hungry. Squires, the food you had the cheek to serve me was a disgrace and the way you handled the matter was shameful. You can't manage, you have no standards and you simply don't care what comes out that kitchen.
