After 30 years of supporting Mikes Kitchen - never again. Mikes Springs tonight was a disaster! Meal took almost 2 hours to get to the table, came in drips and drabs, Wife's Calamari and Prawns were cold and the rice was either raw or two days old!
My guest from UK's burger was a bun with RAW MINCE and sauce! The irony is when I asked her why she is only ordering a burger she said "Because we don't get decent burgers in the UK... and I'm dying for a good burger"
My steak was under prepared, cold and with a sample of mushroom sauce which barely covered half of the steak. Waiter forgot to bring the onion rings but didn't forget to add it to the bill. To top it all off after waiting 2 hours for the meal, it arriving either half cooked or raw the manager still had the audacity to charge us for it! Clients 2 tables away were waiting half an hour longer than us - they eventually gave up and just paid their drinks and left. The table next to us were seated almost 45 minutes after us and got their food 15 minutes before us. Seriously THE worst dining experiences I have ever had.
So off we went home R350.00 poorer.
