O Around the end of March 2013 I added my partner onto my Discovery plan Vitality after assurances from a call centre agent that doing so before June would not affect my Vitality Gold status (this is my 3rd year so next year diamond!!) so long as we continue to earn points together
o A few weeks after confirmation that my partner had indeed been added, I found that my Vitality status had been reset to Blue. Upon calling the call centre I received the following reference number 2861 003 219, together with the assurance that I would be contacted once they had liaised with Vitality's "back office".
o Today 1 July I was informed at Virgin Active Claremont that Vitality had withdrawn my gym membership. I gym a minimum of 3 times a week so found this odd.
I am still awaiting feedback after sending them this exact email!!!
I would appreciate a prompt response to the above explaining:
1. Why my Gold Vitality status has been reset when all I did was add a dependent and after receiving confirmation from an agent that this would not happen.
2. Why my gym membership has been amended/cancelled.
I have had nothing but good experiences with Vitality so far and hope to continue this trend.
