Debit without Authorisation

Someone from the Headoffice phoned my wife to renew her subscription of which she explained to them that we could not afford it now and that we would consider it at later stage. He then suggested a payment option of R129/ month for the subscription of which would be easier or more affordable. My wife then agreed that it would be fine or okay to go on that option as the consultant said that they wouldn't debit the account immediately and that they'll take payment only once his manager calls us to confirm details. He then confirmed if her banking details were still the same and eventually the call ended. A few minutes later, We recieved an sms that Protea Hotels have done a debit on her account for the amount of R1350! - This has caused us much inconvenience as we have not confirmed / authorized any payment with them and that was the only monies we had left in our account for the rest of this month which i have budgeted for fuel to go to work and back! I am now left stranded because Protea Hotels have Unlawfully debited my account and i am going to approach Consumer Rights regarding their unethical behavior!

Protea Hotels! We no longer want to be a ProCard member with you!!!
