Disgusting health care service

One of my colleagues had to be rushed to hospital after fainting at work. She was rushed to Helen Joesph hospital and later transferred to Selby Park Hospital. Upon phoning to find out if she was ok and what ward she was in, they had no idea about her being there or even being admitted. I went through to visit her that night and the staff was extremely rude. No one had told her what was wrong with her, she had been in hospital the entire day and didn't have a clue. When I enquired with one of the nurses she replied and kept saying patient confidentiality they can't tell me anything, which I completely understand but the patient needs to know what is wrong and they refused to tell her while I was there. I called again this morning she said she was waiting for a doctor. I called again at lunch and I was transferred from section to section to extremely rude staff who can't understand what you are saying and who have no telephone skills. Finally the one nurse told me that they did a blood test and are waiting for results and she will sit in hospital until the results come. This is extremely stressful for her as she has no idea what is going on and the staff there is shocking.
