Hospital out of medication

A shocking finding or discovery that patient has been asked to go buy medication at the pharmacy as the hospital cannot provide as they out of stock. What if it's an emergency or the patient don't have the funds or means to leave his/her hospital bed and go outside the hospital to buy the medication.

Private Hospitals charges excessive tariffs and still expect patient's to buy own medication whilst still admitted. This is totally unaccepted practice.

I am completely shocked and disappointed cause this means people's lives are compromised and put at risk by Victoria's Private Hospital management.
