Discovery Health
No answer - means no self-incrimination

Discovery is changing the Chronic and ADL benefits mid 2013 (downwards in my case) according to their 2013 correspondence, The decision was apparently based 'on medicine usage during the last few months of 2012' (by which time members already had to choose their scheme for 2013), and notification was only first received in Mar or Apr 2013 of the decrease in benefits (even though premiums had increased in 2013 by medical inflation). The correspondence states that the lowering of the benefit (in spite of increase in premium) was also due to cheaper drugs being available. Since receiving the correspondence from Discovery, I have tried umpteen times to get Discovery to tell me what drug to use (as there apparently is in fact no cheaper generic than what is currently being used), plus I have been trying to get Discovery to specifically answer some questions, where their correspondence and consultants seem to have differing stories and versions. This has been going on for months, and I seem no closer to getting answers from Discovery - only the same evasive rhetoric. They claim to want to make benefits 'equitable' to all members in a pool group, yet have no answers when asked to justify
