Purchased Bon jovi package through computicket travel their agent being Thompsons travel. Paid in full dec 2012. Included Protea Hotel Melrose stay. Inv no. Na0059301 ref no hotel1924687.. Mr Weldon was unable to take up the package and asked computicket if it could be transferred to Mr venter. Response was yes and confirmation of change provided. This documentation was supplied to Protea on check in Sat 11 May 2013 and client was rudely turned away and said there was no booking under that reference no. Computicket will not refund accommodation as Proteas response was no documentation was provided. Untrue as copies of all correspondence with computicket was provided and above reference number. A proper check should have been done not merely showing the client the door. Are Protea not looking after their future clients in the 25yr old age group. Are you talking down to this age group thus the rudeness experienced? I, the purchaser of this package which was a gift, am personally a Prokard holder, no. 00438150. I am seriously going to have to reconsider this membership based on outcome. Bottom line, a stay at your hotel was paid for and not received.
