Authorisation not refunded after 4 working days

I'm extremely irritated by the fact that I had to call my own bank to have the authorisation amount reversed. Four working days after checking out and the authorisation hadn't been reversed. When I called the hotel, they told me that they know nothing about the authorisation amount that was taken. Will not be coming back to Protea Hotels.
