I had to undergo a eye operation which was not covered by Discovery and therefore without complaining and many calls to the call centre I decided to do the op and pay for it by myself. Once the op on one eye was completed I submitted my Invoice for the claim to discovery simply for tax reasons and guess what they refuse to put it as paid by me as they are waiting a doctors report. Why do you need a doctors report if you are not paying for the procedure and to make it worse when I had to go in for the second eye and the invoice was sent to Discovery they put it on as claims paid by me. it doesn't make any sense. After speaking to call centre I still have to get doctors report... Why Why why. Its simply a waste of my time and energy as all the codes say that you don't pay for this procedure or you did not authorise it. I don't want your money just want it to show on Tax Certificate is it that hard to ask from Discovery.
Waiting to hear further the reason for this issue.
