On the 12 of February 2013 I fell at work and was refered by medical team at SAA to go to my House Dr for treatment after they suspected i had cracked my ribs. (WCA/I.O.D). As my house Dr was Dr W. Botha from Health worx in boksburg i went there. After waiting for almost 2 hours to be treated i went into Dr w. Botha's room. Then he said that they don't treat patients with WCA because they have to wait to long to get their money from Goverment. Then i reacted that i am in pain and that i think it is against the law and Dr ethnics to refuse a patiant treatment for and WCA and that he was my family Dr. He then wrote a script to go for X- Ray's in the same building and the lady there asked me to pay for the x-rays, where to i replied it is an WCA . She then refused to help me and i had so much pain i went to Medicross whom helped me with open arms and profesional service. Last week i received letter that Health worx made a deduction from my medical aid for that WCA Today i went to see them and MS Malan told me that they can refuse service and that i must pay the outstanding amount. I told her that its against the law and she laughed at me. They money from my medical aid!!!
