I Bought a Samsung 46" LED TV 6 month ago at Makro Silver Lakes took out an extended warranty
I was sitting watching TV then the screen just started cracking very small crack at first but the crack grew with time until it was as long as my finger
I took the TV to Makro for repairs on 09/04/13 they sent it to User Electronics
Makro phone me and told me I have to pay R5000 to repair the TV (keep in mind this TV is only 6 months old)
I asked them for the assessment report they told me it will cost R280
I then Phone User electronics and explained to them the TV just cracked right in front of my eyes
Amed told me this is impossible to his knowledge it has never happened before (Google LED TV just cracked you will find 100s of post of exactly the same thing)
Cracked screen struck by something e.g elbow warranty cancelled
User Electronics had no job number to give me
I have spent hours on the phone with Makro, Samsung and User Electronics from the 12/03/13
All I have is a report showing Sylvester from Samsung requested the photos, job card and assessment report from User Electronics on the 19/04/13
How does a 6 month old TVs warranty get cancel without Samsung having any doc's of it?
