I have had my fridge since 2005 during which time I have needed to get the technician out three times. Each time it has been easy, I phone, they book it, he comes and fixes the fridge. Easy. It takes a day.
This time I can't get through to the Service centre. When I do they won't deal with me because I am not a warranty customer. So I was referred to not one but three numbers of technicians in the Hartebeespoort area all of whom apparently don't need work as they don't answer their phone, hang up if they do and generally ignore us.
All I need is a technician to come replace the thermostat and sort out the level alarm. It takes an hour if that. It has never been an issue before. Harties is 20 min from Northgate, so about the same distance as driving from Northgate to Alberton, no, I lie, it is actually closer. How hard is it? This is not customer service!
