Surprising customer service

I had recently purchased a Samsung Smart TV from a Dion Wired store (in Boksburg). On a visit to the Brooklyn mall, I was surprised to discover that there is a Samsung store (which I didn't even know existed)! I had been struggling to get some of the functions to work (between the TV and my smartphone), and thought I'd enquire with a salesman inside. From the word go, this salesman was condescending, obtuse and made me feel like a complete. Comments like "that is what happens when you purchase your TV from a place that didn't know what they sold you just so you could save a few bucks" were made, which, to me, was not an appropriate thing to say to a customer. The guy then gave me advice on my query above; I later discovered that everything this guy had advised me on was wrong (after having carefully read a pamphlet that HE handed to me in the store). I walked out there feeling dismayed and belittled.

I think Samsung has a good idea with these stores. However, with salesman like this, I dread for their existence. I won't be going back there soon.
