My TV has not been functioning properly since December 2012. I followed up with Samsung and they sent their repair people out. The problem persisted after 4 repairs were done to resolve the same problem and now Samsung refuses to replace the unit. They claim only 2 repairs were done when I have proof that 4 were done. The service people have issued me documents each time they did a repair - they themselves have proof. It is their policy to replace the TV after 3 repairs. Samsung is clearly trying to avoid honouring its promise of warranty and I am left with a broken TV that I spent thousands of Rands for. I intend on taking a case to the Consumer Affairs Court for breach of warranty agreement.
