I have been in contact with LG about the repair to my LG fridge in July 2012 Now the symptoms are back and LG say there is only a 3 month warranty and I must pay R600 for a call out.. I had a 2nd opinion and the new company Orca claimed that the unit had too much gas (damage report given) so I had the unit re gassed at my expense to the correct level As far as the technician from Orca was concerned the system was filled too much when the compressor was replaced. Now LG are adamant that I mustpay the R600 call out who claim the problem might not be as is explained. I am really fed up with their attitude and wasting my time etc
