My 50" plasma TV switched off and did not want to switch on again. I live in a small coastal town and could not find a TV repair man close to me. I had to go to PE for business and looked up a TV repair shop and stumbled upon TV Doctor C/O Russel and Moffat street PE. I got to the shop spoke to the owner and explained what happened and that i do not expect a guarantee on the repairs as i only brought the board and not complete TV. That was on Teusday 28 January 2014. I explained that i have to leave PE on Friday morning and need the board by then. The owner had no problem and assured me that it will be done. He gave me an estimate price, I was happy that my TV's pc board will be repaired.
Friday morning when i went to collect the board, the technician told me that HE DID NOT HAVE TIME TO LOOK AT THE BOARD but referred me to the owners previous partner in a small town close to me.!!! Why couldnt they told me that from the beginning? Why did they undertook the job just to have it there for 4 days without even looking at it! I could have taken it to another repair shop. I will NEVER EVER deal with them again! SHAME ON YOU TV DOCTOR! Your service is NOT from the Heart!!!
